Dr. Kathleen M. Colorado is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from University of South Florida (USF) with a 4.0 GPA with Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is a volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor at University of South Florida College of Medicine department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery.
She had the honor of graduating as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society member from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1999, where she graduated 2nd out of her entire medical school class.
She is a graduate of the four years USF post medical school graduate residency course in dermatology, cutaneous surgery and cosmetic surgery. She has passed her previous nursing boards, medical school boards and specialty boards, all above the 99th percentile and has been certified by the Board of American Academy of Dermatology in 2003.
Dr. Kathleen M. Colorado, MD, has practiced at the prestigious Watson Clinic in Lakeland, Florida for two years where she specialized in all aspects of dermatology, cutaneous skin surgery and cosmetics, including skin cancer screening, treatment and surgery.
Dr. Kathleen M. Colorado believes in the practice of medicine as a warm, caring and down to earth partnership between the patient and the doctor. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Society. Dr Colorado works in a team oriented medical approach with multiple M.D. Physicians and Physician Assistants seeing and treating patients as well.
